A Lullaby for my niece

1..2...1,2,3,4)

Shed a tear 'cause I'm missing you

I'm still alright to smile

Girl, I think about you every day now

Was a time when I wasn't sure

But you set my mind at ease

There is no doubt you're in my heart now

Said woman take it slow

It'll work itself out fine

All we need is just a little patience

Said sugar make it slow

And we'll come together fine

All we need is just a little patience

(inhale) Patience...

Ooh, oh, yeah

Sit here on the stairs

'Cause I'd rather be alone

If I can't have you right now, I'll wait dear

Sometimes, I get so tense

But I can't speed up the time

But you know, love, there's one more thing to consider

Said woman take it slow

Things will be just fine

You and I'll just use a little patience

Said sugar take the time

'Cause the lights are shining bright

You and I've got what it takes to make it

We won't fake it, Oh never break it

'Cause I can't take it

...little patience, mm yeah, ooh yeah,

Need a little patience, yeah

Just a little patience, yeah

Some more pati... (ence, yeah)

I've been walking these streets at night

Just trying to get it right (Need some patience, yeah)

It's hard to see with so many around

You know I don't like being stuck in a crowd (Could use some patience, yeah)

And the streets don't change but maybe the name

I ain't got time for the game

'Cause I need you (Patience, yeah)

Yeah, yeah well I need you

Oh, I need you (Take some patience)

Whoa, I need you (Just a little patience is all we need)

Ooh, this ti- me....

Jorgito on Men - Chapter One

Chapter One

I've seen men up close when they go crazy
their legs give out, they turn speechless
they go places and sit on the corners,  alone and in silence,
with a mess for a hairdo, some wrinkled bills in their pockets
and a face that shouts out, Lord please kill me now.

The graduation of a man.
Heartbreak.
Wow, there is to much to say about this,
I have to rethink this post.

I'll be back

Believe.

Jorgito on Women - Chapter One

Chapter One

there is nothing like the presence of women.
a woman.
a beautiful, soft, pissed off woman.
or just a woman.

I've read about them, I see what they like, what they don't
I've also seen up close how they moan, sweat and bite on my shoulders,
I've even seen them smile, truly smile,
and that's it for me. The smile, how they've smiled in front of me.
How she used to smile in front of me.

And then we drink, we see movies, we write and write,
and I can't figure them out.
Women and their weird and mysterious ways that makes
men turn into christmas trees,
into boxes and boxes of booze.

I've cooked for them my best dishes,
I've read the best poems,
I've taught them jujitsu,
Even how to drive,
And still can get them, how their minds work,
how listening, loving, understanding them is not enough at times.

I wonder.
Do women know that time is running out?
that we are progress under the sky
that we can stop  being here for good at any moment?
I don't quite get it.
fear?

I wonder.
And I wonder again.

So yeah, I love women.
I love you.

The Wrestler. Darren Aronofsky is back

Back in the late 80s, Randy The Ram Robinson (Mickey Rourke) was a headlining professional wrestler. Now, twenty years later, he ekes out a living performing for handfuls of diehard wrestling fans in high school gyms and community centers around New Jersey. Estranged from his daughter (Evan Rachel Wood) and unable to sustain any real relationships, Randy lives for the thrill of the show and the adoration of his fans. However, a heart attack forces him into retirement. As his sense of identity starts to slip away, he begins to evaluate the state of his life.

The venus project

Scarcity: (also called paucity) is the problem of infinite human needs and wants, in a world of finite resources. In other words, society does not have sufficient productive resources to fulfill those wants and needs. Alternatively, scarcity implies that not all of society's goals can be pursued at the same time

Curly aspects on top of your hills

a mi teclado,

I want to take a picture of butterflies talking,
what would they talk about? the weather? the economy? or just maybe,
they just complement themselves on their ever changing colors that we all neglect,
colors, the colors,
I see colors when we smile.

Let's swim to the moon, ah ha
Let's climb through the tide
Penetrate the evenin' that the
City sleeps to hide
Let's swim out tonight, love
It's our turn to try
Parked beside the ocean
On our moonlight drive

Warm beer, cold women [tom waits]

warm beer, cold women.
warm beer, cold women
yes, exactly.

warm beer and cold women, I just don't fit in
every joint I stumbled into tonight
that's just how it's been
all these double knit strangers with
gin and vermouth and recycled stories
in the naugahyde booths

with the platinum blondes
and tobacco brunettes
I'll be drinkin' to forget you
lite another cigarette
and the band's playin' something
by Tammy Wynette
and the drinks are on me tonight

all my conversations I'll just be
talkin' about you baby
borin' some sailor as I try to get through
I just want him to listen
that's all you have to do
he said I'm better off without you
till I showed him my tattoo

now the moon's rising
ain't got no time to lose
time to get down to drinking
tell the band to play the blues
drink's are on me, I'll buy another round
at the last ditch attempt saloon

warm beer and cold women, I just don't fit in
every joint I stumbled into tonight
that's just how it's been
all these double knit strangers with
gin and vermouth and recycled stories
in the naugahyde booths

with the platinum blondes
and tobacco brunettes
I'll be drinking to forget you
lite another cigarette
and the band's playing somethin'
by Johnnie Barnett
and the drinks are on me tonight

When the music's over, just turn off the lights

love moves me, it takes me out of my wrinkled bed around 8
more or less,
the clock making noise,
my phone clock that is,
I daydream in the shower, and becomes the best part of the day,
I have 2 fried eggs, a piece of bread, and a strong coffee with some milk,
m  i  l  k  ,
sometimes,
and I remember beautiful moments that turn on my iTunes,
and Chet pops up to fuck with my day,
Chet Baker, fuckin' Chet Baker,
genius, singer, junkie, a man,
and then I come to peace,
my mind takes a hike
and I pretend to know what to expect,
I burn a red one and all comes to me,
All the things I've done,
all of them,
they slowly play with me,
I miss Madrid, I miss Manhattan,
I want to love this town again,
bit it smells like 2 day old dead formaldehyde rats,
I have another drag,
open the door to my house,
fake palindromes eco,
and there it comes:
the breeze,
and tells me to shut the fuck up.

Thanks for Hunter S. Thompson, William Ian Miller, Nietzsche Jim Morrison, Benedetti, Carl Sagan, Wes Anderson and all those books, movies, directors, writers, dead friends, dead relatives and dead dreams of things I don't want to remember.

I'm a soft milk pudin based Ironman.

peace.love.understanding.
no games please.
And if you need those, buy a fuckin' a monopoly.

I'm going to shoot a short film written by yours truly

Not to touch the earth

I can never pick anything ever.
I like change.
this is the only thing i've been able to pick.
My favorite song.
Maybe it's not the best played, or maybe the lyrics are insane
but this is the song that I hum, AND THIS IS MUSIC TO ME
POETRY AND THE DOORS BACKING IT UP.
I need it to share this.

Not to touch the earth
Not to see the sun
Nothing left to do, but
Run, run, run
Let's run
Let's run
House upon the hill
Moon is lying still
Shadows of the trees
Witnessing the wild breeze
C'mon baby run with me
Let's run

Run with me
Run with me
Run with me
Let's run

The mansion is warm, at the top of the hill
Rich are the rooms and the comforts there
Red are the arms of luxuriant chairs
And you won't know a thing till you get inside

Dead president's corpse in the driver's car
The engine runs on glue and tar
Come on along, not goin' very far
To the East to meet the Czar

Run with me
Run with me
Run with me
Let's run

Whoa!

Some outlaws lived by the side of a lake
The minister's daughter's in love with the snake
Who lives in a well by the side of the road
Wake up, girl, we're almost home

Ya, c'mon!

We should see the gates by mornin'
We should be inside the evenin'

Sun, sun, sun
Burn, burn, burn
Soon, soon, soon
Moon, moon, moon
I will get you
Soon!
Soon!
Soon!

I am the Lizard King
I can do anything

is everybody in?

poetry comes to me like blankets when i don't need them
electric poetry from the lizard king are tales of things that will never happen
or have they?
poetry comes to me like white rice when i need some pasta, but i comes.
I'll invite you to read some of Jim's writings ,
and yes, forget the world, forget the people, forget the drugs
and find what is in,
is everybody in?? the show is about to begin...

Black Polished Chrome

The music was new
black polished chrome
And came over the summer
like liquid night.
The DJ's took pills to stay awake
and play for seven days
They went to the studio
And someone knew him
Someone knew the TV showman
He came to our homeroom party
and played records
And when he left in the hot noon sun
and walked to his car
We saw the chooks had written
F-U-C-K on his windshield
He wiped it off with a rag
and smiling coolly drove away
He's rich. Got a big car.

My gang will get you
Scenes of rape in the arroyo
Seduction in cars, abandoned buildings
Fights at the food stand
The dust
the shoes
Open shirts and raised collars
Bright sculptured hair.

Hey man, you want girls, pills, grass? C'mon...
I show you good time.
This place has everything. C'mon...
I show you.

Never mean. Never.

I will never treat you mean
Never start no kind of scene
I'll tell you every place and person that I've been

Always a playground instructor, never a killer,
Always a bridesmaid on the verge of fame or over,
He maneuvered two girls in to his hotel room.
One a friend, the other, the young one, a newer stranger
Vaguely Mexican or Puerto Rican.
Poor boys thighs and buttocks scarred by a father's belt,
She's trying to rise.
Story of her boyfriend, of teenage stoned death games,
Handsome lad, dead in a car.
Confusion.
No connections.
Come 'ere.
I love you.
Peace on earth.
Will you die for me?
Eat me.
This way.
The end

Music to listen: It's alright, by Guns N' Roses

Told you once about your friends and neighbours
They were always seeking but they'll never find it
It's alright, it's alright

Where to go and where to see
It's always been that way and it can never be
Well it's alright, it's alright

Give it all and ask for no return
And very soon you'll see and you'll begin to learn
That it's alright, it's alright

Don't you know that it's so good for you
You can be making love and see it all go through
But it's alright, it's alright

Told you once about your friends and neighbours
They were always seeking but they'll never find it
It's alright, it's alright

Music to listen: Poses, by Rufus Wainwright

The yellow walls are lined with portraits
And Ive got my new red fetching leather jacket All these poses such beautiful poses Makes any boy feel like picking up roses Theres never been such grave a matter As comparing our new brand name black sunglasses All these poses such beautiful poses Makes any boy feel as pretty as princes The green autumnal parks conducting All the city streets a wondrous chorus singing All these poses oh how can you blame me Life is a game and true love is a trophy And you said Watch my head about it Baby you said watch my head about it My head about it Oh no oh no oh no Oh no oh no no kidding Reclined amongst these packs of reasons For to smokes the days away into the evenings All these poses of classical torture Ruined my mind like a snake in the orchard I did go from wanting to be someone now Im drunk and wearing flip-flops on fifth avenue Once youve fallen from classical virtue Wont have a soul for to wake up and hold you In the green autumnal parks conducting All the city streets a wondrous chorus Singing all these poses now no longer boyish Made me a man ah but who cares what that it And you said watch my head about it Baby you said watch my head about it My head about it Oh no oh no oh no Oh no oh no well you said Watch my head about it Baby you said watch my head about it My head about it Oh no oh no oh no Oh no oh no no kidding

I said, Music to listen: Waltzing Matilda

The great Tom Waits.

Wasted and wounded, it ain't what the moon did
I've got what I paid for now
see ya tomorrow, hey Frank, can I borrow
a couple of bucks from you, to go
Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda, you'll go waltzing
Matilda with me

I'm an innocent victim of a blinded alley
and I'm tired of all these soldiers here
no one speaks English, and everything's broken
and my Stacys are soaking wet
to go waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda, you'll go waltzing Matilda with me

now the dogs are barking
and the taxi cab's parking
a lot they can do for me
I begged you to stab me
you tore my shirt open
and I'm down on my knees tonight
Old Bushmill's I staggered, you buried the dagger in
your silhouette window light to go
waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda, you'll go waltzing
Matilda with me

now I lost my Saint Christopher now that I've kissed her and the one-armed bandit knows, and the maverick Chinamen, and the cold-blooded signs
and the girls down by the strip-tease shows go
waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda, you'll go waltzing Matilda with me

no, I don't want your sympathy, the fugitives say that the streets aren't for dreaming now
manslaughter dragnets and the ghosts that sell memories
they want a piece of the action anyhow go
waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda, you'll go waltzing Matilda with me

and you can ask any sailor, and the keys from the jailor
and the old men in wheelchairs know
that Matilda's the defendant, she killed about a hundred
and she follows wherever you may go
waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda, you'll go waltzing
Matilda with me

and it's a battered old suitcase to a hotel someplace
and a wound that will never heal
no prima donna, the perfume is on
an old shirt that is stained with blood and whiskey
and goodnight to the street sweepers
the night watchman flame keepers
and goodnight to Matilda too
